2008 Secrets of Japan:14 day Japanese Holiday Tour

2008 Secrets of Japan - 14 days

From an imperial past to unprecedented modernity, discover the 'Land of the Rising Sun'.

Explore the crowning glory of the Pacific Ring of Fire – Japan is a destination like no other, whose shrines, parks, cities and people are sure to inspire you.

Few travel spots cast a spell on travellers the way Japan does. The country’s history goes back to 30,000BC, and today she represents the second largest economy in the world. Japan is a land of contrasts; the breakneck speed of Tokyo becomes a distant memory when you sit in a quiet park under a cherry blossom tree in Kyoto. It becomes easy to believe that your gracious hosts equally embrace the ancient sport of Sumo as much as they fanatically support baseball! Let us share with you some of the secrets of this dreamlike destination the way we do it best – by staying in an authentic ryokan, experiencing city lights and ancient villages.

Tokyo, Hakone, Nagoya, Matsumoto, Takayama, Nara, Hiroshima, Kyoto.
