2009 Highlights of Japan:10 day Japanese Holiday Tour

2009 Highlights of Japan - 10 days

Experience the very best of the ‘Land of the Rising Sun’ on this 10-day journey. When you travel with us, you will get to know the real Japan – enjoy a tea ceremony in Toyko, stay overnight in a traditional inn near Mount Fuji and learn to make Japanese paper in the World Heritage-listed village of Shirakawago. We also explore the lovely city of Kyoto – wandering among her gardens and temples and seeing the thriving geisha culture first hand in the Gion District. Travel between major centres on the iconic Shinkansen (bullet train) – an experience in itself!

Ask Our Manager: "Japan is a land of towering sky scrapers and neon-lit streets, but she is also home to the Asia of yesteryear; age-old trading towns in the Kiso Valley, the temples of Takayama, and the stunning the Japanese Alps are some of my favourite destinations." A. Giblin - Senior Product Manager
