2009 Tibet Experience:12 day Tibet & China Tour

2009 Tibet Experience - 12 days

Hang prayer flags outside a monastery whilst taking in the incomparable beauty of Tibet.

This spectacular 12-day journey will introduce you to the highlights and complex history of Tibet, and the people who call the remote region home. From the pilgrim-laden streets of Lhasa to the snowcapped mountains, endless skies and turquoise lakes of the Tibetan Plateau, discover a world far removed from your own. You will be welcomed into the homes of the locals to experience their unique lifestyle first hand, and amazed by the beauty of the yak-dotted high altitude plains. Your journey starts and ends in Chengdu, capital of China’s Sichuan Province and home to spicy cuisine, bustling teahouses and the world-famous Giant Panda.
