Experience the dramatic scenery of the Three Gorges, glimpse the China of old and witness the spectacle of the largest dam in the world on the 12-day ‘Three Gorges Discovery’. Your adventure begins in Beijing, the historical and cultural heart of the Middle Kingdom. We spend a few days discovering the capital before heading to Xian, a melting pot of cultures and rich in historical sites. Discover the beauty and wonder of the Three Gorges as we cruise down the Yangtze River before experiencing the contrasts of Shanghai, one of Asia’s most vibrant and fascinating cities.

Trip grading: EASY to MODERATE Suitable for travellers with an average level of fitness and independent mobility. Expect a fair amount of walking and you may need to carry your bags from time to time. Fly between major destinations. Boarding of small and large boats required.
