Experience the highlights of the north, from the frenetic streets and markets of Delhi to the unforgettable sight of the Taj Mahal at dawn, from the humbling spectacle of pilgrims bathing in the Ganges to the desert landscapes of Rajasthan. Seek out the elusive Bengal tiger in Bandhavagarh National Park, shop for jewellery and carpets in the markets of Jaipur and be romanced by the lakeside palaces and gardens of Udaipur.

Trip grading:
MODERATE to ADVENTUROUS Suitable for travellers with an average level of fitness, independent mobility; a keen sense of adventure is important. Prepare for some long road journeys.

What's included:
15 nights hotel accommodation and 1 overnight train (soft sleeper), all road transport by airconditioned vehicles, all sightseeing as specified (excluding entrance fees), Western tour leader (7 or more travellers) and local English-speaking guides throughout, arrival and departure transfers, breakfast daily, 7 lunches and 4 dinners.
